Every year at our annual Awards night, we acknowledge the personal contribution of every boy from each of our 4 sections for their efforts throughout the year. In addition, we recognise the special efforts of a small number of boys who have made an exceptional contribution to the work of the BB in Forres. Our warmest congratulations to the award winners.
In what has been an exciting year, we would like to thank most sincerely every boy, parent and BB supporter who has remained with us and indeed those new boys who have joined us. Your support and commitment has never wavered throughout the year.
Our most grateful thanks go to our small group of loyal officers whose support and help has been exceptional and without whom we could not function as a Company. Lastly, our thanks to our Chaplain whose kind words and constant support have helped maintain our faith in, and commitment to, the BB during this year.
2025/26 Award Winners⁸
John Mackenzie Memorial Trophy for Endeavour
Awarded this year to Senior Boy, Ewan Coulby, for his willingness to try new activities and give of his best on every occasion. Ewan has regularly provided ideas for sessions for his peers and has run a couple of these himself. He has deserved our recognition with this award.
Helen Robertson Award for Best Boy Overall
Awarded to Darshan Hamilton for his amazing contribution to the work of the Company and for being such an excellent role model for all the other boys. Darshan regularly attends, is always immaculately turned out and willingly takes on new activities. This is a very deserved award.
Best Boy Anchor Section
We introduced a new trophy last year to recognise the particular efforts and achievements of our youngest boys in the Anchor Section. Named the Anchor Boy – Best Boy trophy, the recipient for this year is Gethin Finlayson.
Also congratulations to Company Section Team member Darshan Hamilton for winning the Company Inspection trophy, to Junior Section Team member Jack Gray for winning the Junior Section Inspection award and to Anchor Section Team member, Reuben Savage for winning the Anchor Inspection award.
